On New Year’s Eve, me and my family received some life changing news that my Dandar (my grandad for those who don’t know) was diagnosed with grade 5 prostate cancer which cannot be cured. 1 in 8 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer and 10,000 men every year are diagnosed too late for it to be cured. I am running the Great North Run in support of Dandar and everyone impacted by this terrible disease.
