Story
In September, I’ll be running the Great North Run in memory of my grandad, who sadly passed away in 2013 from prostate cancer.
My grandad was a huge part of my life, and losing him left a lasting impact on our family. Like so many others, he was affected by a disease that still doesn’t get talked about enough, despite being one of the most common cancers in men. By taking on this challenge, I want to honour his memory and help raise awareness, fund vital research, and support families who are going through what we once did.
Every mile I run will be for him — and for the thousands of men and families affected by prostate cancer every year. Your support, whether big or small, means more than I can put into words. Together, we can help fund earlier diagnoses, better treatments, and hopefully save lives in the future.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for supporting such an important cause.
