The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

One in 100 people are autistic which means there are an estimated 700,000 people on the autism spectrum in the UK. As part of Autism Awareness Week (30th March-5th April) Oscar’s run is taking place on Sunday 5th April. We will be running a 7K route starting and finishing at Oval Park in Oadby. In addition to the run we will be having a bbq, bouncy castle , cake sale and anything else we can think of to raise money and awareness for the National Autistic Society. If you would like to join us at the event we are starting at 2pm, if you would like to sponsor me even better. Please also give consideration to the fact that I will be running the route with a very excitable cocker spaniel. 🤣
