The raffle will take place from 9am-9pm on Sunday 19th September, 2021. Any money given before or after that time is a donation to the M.E Association only. It will not buy you a raffle ticket.
We're raffling a brand-new, still-in-its packing Dyson V11 cordless vacuum for just £1 per entry!
The vacuum – which is selling on Dyson's own website today for £416 – has been donated to us by The James Dyson Foundation. The raffle will be used to raise funds for the ME Association's biomedical research programme.
How does it work?
Between 9am and 9pm on Sunday 19th September, a £1 payment buys you 1 raffle ticket, £10 buys you 10 tickets, etc.
The draw will be made at 9.30pm that evening, using a random number generator.
When buying a ticket using JustGiving, people should tick the box which allows your information to be passed on to the ME Association. And you should give your name and full home address so – if you turn out to be the winner – we know where to post the prize.
Only one prize will be awarded.
We can only accept entries into the raffle from people living in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, The Channel Islands and The Isle of Man.
The raffle promoter, Tony Britton, will dispatch the prize to the winner within two days of the close of the raffle – having notified the winner by then of their success.
The M.E Association does a variety of things for people living with M.E, including raising funds for vital research, running a telephone helpline to provide reliable information and support and campaigning at the highest levels on behalf of people with the illness.
Thank you very much for your support. Please feel free to share this with your friends to help us spread the word.
PLEASE NOTE: Gift Aid cannot be claimed on the sale of raffle tickets.
