It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Yarwood on the 23rd of February 2023 following his long battle with cancer.
David was a loving Husband, a fantastic Father and doting Grandad. The family would like to invite all who knew him to come and pay their respects, sharing the special memories we have been fortunate enough to experience with such a great man.
The funeral will be held at Blackley Crematorium on Tuesday 28th March 2023 at 11am, followed by a wake to celebrate Dad’s life at the Woodthorpe Hotel (near Heaton Park).
In lieu of flowers, if you would like to donate in Dad’s memory, we have set up a page (link) for The Christies Charity who were fantastic in supporting Mum and Dad throughout the most difficult times.
As a family, we have been so grateful for all the love, support, and comfort we have received. We would like to say a special thank you to the fantastic staff on E1 of North Manchester General Hospital for all your support and kindness at the end.
