I am running the Greater Manchester Marathon on 11th October 2020 to raise money for Alzheimer's Society. It's a charity that's close to my heart because both of my Nannas have been affected by Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia.

Dementia is caused by diseases that damage the brain and affect a person’s ability to think, remember and go about their day-to-day life. And Alzheimer’s disease is the most common cause of dementia, affecting around six in every 10 people with dementia in the UK.

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
