Sadly in 2018 my buddy Alastair was diagnosed with an incurable blood cancer (Mantle Cell Lymphoma) that required urgent treatment at Barts including 2 separate Stem Cell Transplants. The 2nd critical one was only possibly due to an anonymous donor found by the Anthony Nolan Trust.

In 2023 it came back. Not as aggressive as previously but back all the same. Alastair is doing brilliantly as this photo shows but we still need help for him and others.

Anthony Nolan do essential, incredible work in finding life-saving donors and for that reason Alastair is always looking at ways to help raise their profile and help them raise critical funds.

This Sunday I’m running the Great North Run to raise funds for the Anthony Nolan Trust hence Alastair would be extremely grateful for any donations to help us raise as much as possible (whilst running in the unusually warm conditions in Newcastle!)
