On December 7th 2024 four days after his 12th birthday my son carter got diagnosed with blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm leukaemia, which has rocked our lives and if it wasn't for the help and support of the hospital staff at the great north children's hospital at the rvi Newcastle and the support giving to us by young lives VS cancer I really don't know how we could of coped with the news and treatments that's carter has to go through over the next 3 plus years.

I have to decided to run the great north run to hopefully raise some money for this great charity to help future families that have to go through this devastating news.
