I've joined Team Save, Great North Run 2026! I'll be taking on this half marathon to give children hope for a better future.

In over 100 countries (including the UK), Save the Children supports children to transform their lives. With global Save the Children members, their shared ambition is that by 2030: no child dies from preventable causes before their fifth birthday, all children learn from a quality basic education and violence against children is no longer tolerated.

The atrocities seen across the world shown through the media do not even scratch the surface of how children affected are suffering. So despite having thought I'd never run again after school, I'll be participating in the Great North Run this year!
