Brain Tumour Research is the leading voice of the brain tumour community and focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours. We are campaigning to increase the national investment in research to £35 million per year and funding sustainable Centres of Excellence across the UK.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Myself and my mum have been given a charity place at the
Great North Run. We will be running alongside Mo Farrah and 30,000 other runners starting in Newcastle and running 13.1 miles to South Shields. We have committed to raising £500 each for our place.

Brain Tumour Research is still very close to our hearts after losing the one and only Stevie G (my dad) to a brain tumour. Brain Tumour Research is woefully under-funded and we are trying to do our part to raise some money and awareness. Only 1% of cancer research is spent researching brain tumours. Brain tumours kills. Life expectancy for people with brain tumours has not increased in 40 years.

A big Thank You to everyone who has supported us through our fundraising and attended our charity nights! Next Charity night 19th
May 2018!!!!
