An annual Creative Writing event for Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of Sophie Porter (1982-2007). Green Ink Sponsored Write brings together writers across the genres under one theme, supporting Macmillan Cancer Support's mission to improve quality of life for everyone affected by cancer: making the most of all the time families and friends have together. Reflecting that mission, writers are sponsored for their time rather than word count, because time is the biggest thing we can give. 

This year's theme is 'Green Things'. Expect the weird and the wonderful.

Sponsor a writer, and be the first to receive the results: After a 24-hour grace period for editing, you'll receive an email of all the material – six months before that material is published anywhere else by the writers.
