British 3 Peaks Challenge · 14 August 2014

Platfform is the mental health and social change charity. (We were formerly known as Gofal). We work with people who are experiencing challenges with their mental health, and with communities who want to create a greater sense of connection, ownership and wellbeing in the places that they live.

Story

The team at Greenaway Scott have gathered a group of daring people to take part in the British 3 Peaks Challenge!

Nigel Greenaway, Laura Herdman, Naya De Jesus, David Dulieu and Ramee Abdo are taking part in the challenge.

The challenge is to climb the highest peaks in the UK in 24 hours (!!) The peaks are:

Snowdon, in Wales (1085m);

Scaffel Pike, in England (978m); and

  • Ben Nevis, in Scotland (1344m).

We are raising money for an excellent charity, GOFAL.

GOFAL are a leading welsh mental health and wellbeing charity. Gofal provide a wide range of services to people with mental health problems, supporting their independence, recovery, health and well being. GOFAL also contribute toward improving the mental health policy, practice and legislation in conjunction to campaigning to increase public understanding and awareness of mental health.
