This April, team Green Ginger Digital are walking to raise money for a cause that is close to all of the team's hearts. 

According to research from Cancer Research UK, someone in the UK dies every 4 minutes from cancer. Coincidentally, everyone in the GGD team knows at least one person who is suffering or who has suffered with cancer, so this is a cause that we are really passionate about. 

Recently, Green Ginger's Co-Founder, Nick Cranwell, tragically lost his Dad, Ulli, after a gallant battle with cancer. The team have decided to come together to raise money for Cancer Research UK, as a way to show our appreciation to those who looked after Nick's dad and other family and friends that we have lost to the disease.

In memory of Ulli and his Austrian heritage, we have set ourselves the challenge to collectively walk 2,539,764 steps which is the distance it would take to walk from the UK to Austria.

With the nature of our jobs being desk-based, be under no illusion that will this be an easy feat for the team. However, together we will brush off our walking shoes and hit the pavement to get our steps in wherever we can.

With a goal of raising £2,000, please dig deep for this great cause that touches so many lives.
