Story

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page.

“Having ran for a number of years and pounded hundreds of miles of road, trail, canal towpath and hills - I felt now was the time for others to benefit from my hours on the roads and hills.

During 2022, my school has been fundraising for Mercy Ships.

Mercy Ships is a faith-based international development organisation that deploys hospital ships to some of the poorest countries in the world, delivering vital free healthcare to people  in desperate need.

Towards the end of May 2022, I shall be travelling to Northern Greenland to take part in a marathon. The conditions, location and environment will be very different to what I am used to and a long distance run in subzero temperatures with icebergs for company will provide far greater challenges to my usual routes.

I invite you to throw in a few ££££ to my good cause and in doing so - you will be supporting a great number of our neighbours who really benefit from the volunteer surgeons, nursing staff and the many supporting colleagues who seek to tend to those in desperate situations.”

(Please note that I am fundraising for two charities: Mercy Ships and Childhood Cancer Parents Alliance. You are welcome to support either of these good causes)

I thank you !
