As a GP I recognise the NHS’s contribution to the climate crisis. Global warming will make many regions of the world too hot to be habitable, and rising sea levels will cause loss of coastal communities. All of this will lead to people fleeing their homes to seek sanctuary elsewhere.

Charities like RAY help support refugees who may have survived these sorts of disasters and are looking to keep their families safe and rebuild their lives.
