In December 2020 – Gravesend lost one of the most popular, friendly, and kindest characters – Slim Nijjer. Slim was landlord of The Bat & Ball but deep down he was a lot more and many football clubs around Gravesend would not be what they are without him. On Sunday July 25th 6 Clubs will come together to compete in the Slim Nijjer Memorial Tournament. A day to celebrate and raise money for Ellenor Lions Hospice. The day will be family fun with BBQs, Bouncy Castles, Bars and Football – So Greenways Aces, Guru Nanak FC, Grand Sports, AFC Rangers would love to see everyone support the day and celebrate Slim in the best way possible.

The first games kick off at 10.30am, with the final being played at 15.00
