Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On May 19th I’ll be taking part in this years Manchester 10k. Something that this time last year I wouldn’t have even dreamed of doing. I wouldn’t haven’t even made it the end of street with out passing out because I’m a fat shite 😂. I’m on my own little journey of losing some weight. Last year I lost two and half stone. I’ve still got a long way to go and I want to lose probably the same amount this year. Doing this gives me something to aim for.
But I’m going to be doing this run in the memory one of my oldest and best friends, Ian Walsh. It broke all our hearts when Ian left us. I know every single one of us, family and friends, think about him and I personally think about him almost everyday. If Ian was still here and I said to him that was doing a 10k run he’d have said “fuck off Greggers” and done that stupid laugh of his 😂.
Ian was being helped by a local charity called MhIST . MhIST, the Mental Health Independent Support Team, provides a friendly, safe and confidential service to support and voice the interests of mental health service and their carers.

I’d like to raise as much as I could for them and my target is £1000.
I’d appreciate any donation big or small.
