Greg's Channel swim challenge · 9 April 2018

The RAF Benevolent Fund is the RAF’s longest-standing charity, dedicated to supporting serving and former RAF personnel, and their families. Our promise is simple: One day’s service, a lifetime of support. Help us continue to be there for the RAF Family by supporting us today.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2005 Greg was involved in a serious traffic accident which left him with a serious brain injury and sight impairment.

Greg spent many months in HDU, and 7 months in the Maelor Hospital Wrexham.

Followed by 5 months in Clatterbridge rehabilitation. When this was finished the RAFBF stepped in and helped Greg and his family with housing and financial support for Gregs sporting memberships so Greg can take part in disability sports to help further in his ongoing rehabilitation. The RAFBF will always be there for Greg and this is his way of giving something back, Greg hopes fundraising for the charity will help enable others to do so.

Greg will be undertaking the swimming challenge starting from April 9th at his local swimming baths, Waterworld in Wrexham
