My Dad's last year or so has been a difficult one. Being taken in and out of hospital and battling with his constant deterioration due to his condition. But he has surprised us all in how strong and determined he has been to face each day with a smile. The time came when it became too difficult for life at home, we were then graced with St Columba's hospice. They have been so understanding and caring and made Dad's life much easier. There is a lot of people to thank in helping Dad's struggle, St columba's is one of a kind. 

Next spring I am going to walk the west Highland way from the southern shores of Loch lomond northward to Fort William. I plan to hike for a week, camp each night and leave my wallet at home.
