The Black Rock 5 is an annual event that takes place up at Kinghorn in Fife every year.  Its basically a 5 mile run through the town and out across the beach towards the Black Rock.  This year it starts at 7.45pm on the 11th June as this co-incides with the tide coming in. WHAT!!  I hear you say!!  Well by the time most of us get out to the Rock the tide is coming in and you are up past your shins in water.  There is also a lonely piper out on the Rock to help "encourage" us on.  Once round the ragged rock us ragged rascals run then its back along the beach and through the town to the finish line.

Its a great night and a good laugh at the same time.  This year I've persuaded my wife to join me in the event as I think she is going to raise money for Cistic Fibrosis.  She's never completed a fun run before and its one I know she'll enjoy.

So anyway, please give what you can so we can help those at Erskine who have given so much since 1916.  Its the least we can do.

Thanks again
