The wonderful Roisín Pelan... (Soon to be Mrs Brown) has set up this amazing fundraiser to help raise money and awareness for a charity close to her heart. Make 2nds count that offers help, support and research into people like Roisín with secondary, incurable cancer. 

I've decided this would be a perfect opportunity for me to get my ass moving and raise some money for this fabulous cause. 

Roisíns sister who lives in Australia was also diagnosed with breast cancer and was due to come over to England for her wedding this year....which sadly didn’t happen due to Covid-19. So she decided to make it happen virtually!

 As a team, the aim is to cycle/walk/run the distance from Roisín's front door in Preston, England to her sisters front door in Melbourne, Australia. 

Once we’ve gotten to Australia, the world is our oyster! We can keep on going! 

Secondary breast cancer is breast cancer which has spread from the breast to other parts of the body. Although secondary breast cancer can be treated, there is no cure. Unlike those living with primary breast cancer, there is no end of treatment, there is no remission. It’s estimated that 35,000 people are currently living with secondary breast cancer in the UK yet only 7% of the National funding for cancer goes towards this incurable disease.
