Grouville FC 2.6 Relay Marathon · 26 April 2020

Freeda is a confidential service which offers support, advice and safe accommodation to victims of domestic violence 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We offer the opportunity to talk in confidence about what is happening. You do not have to stay at the home to receive our support.

Story

Our Grouville u13 players and u14 captain would like to show their support to a charity that needs additional funding at this difficult time.

In line with Jersey Sport's 2.6 challenge we have chosen to run a virtual relay marathon, each runner completing 2.6 miles in order. We have 2 teams of 13 runners so each team will have completed over a marathon each. When one runner ends the next one goes.

The teams consist of players, coaches and parents from Grouville Football Club.

We are a real family club so we are raising funds for Jersey Women's Refuge as our chosen charity. In these difficult times we would like to support families who are in need of additional support.

Thank you all and well done to Grouville FC x
