The Growing Together Project is a partnership between Revive (an organisation that supports refugees and asylum seekers, and part of The Holy Ghost Fathers Charity) and The HEAP (Highfield Eco-Allotment Project) ALL donations through this page will go directly to The Growing Together Project.
Every Tuesday, come rain or shine, you’ll find a dedicated crew of gardeners on the Heap working to produce something unique. It is a warm, welcoming and supportive community which tends to the project allotment. No matter what is going on in their lives, these gardeners come week after week; they keep smiling week after week; they bring joy, laughter and song week after week.
Growing Together provides refugees and asylum seekers the opportunity to be part of a project, apply themselves to something meaningful and give something back to their community. It is a much needed support network for one of the most marginalised groups in our society.
Our participants give so much when they have so little; that’s why I turn up every Tuesday, and that’s why I am dedicated my run to these people and raising money to keep the project running.
THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING ME!
