Story
Across Will County, Farm Bureau members continue to grow the potential for education opportunities for students in Will County, and with your support, we can continue to grow our future through education. Whether it is a farmer visiting a school to speak about local foods, or a scholarship for the next generation of agriculturalists, the Will County Farm Bureau Foundation supports projects which directly impact thousands of students in Will County each year.
During the 2020-2021 school year:
- Over 3,000 students learned about agriculture, food, and natural resources through our Agriculture in the Classroom program.
- Over 40 college scholarships were awarded to students across different disciplines and age groups.
As we begin this school year, we thank you for growing these efforts of educating the next generation on the importance of agriculture. We're looking for 100 people to donate $20, which the Will County Farm Bureau Foundation will use to further propel our members' efforts to educate Will County's youngest generation. While an individual donation of $20 might not seem like much, everyone's donation together will make a large impact on the programs that the Foundation supports. For the past 35 years, the Foundation has collaborated to be successful in its efforts, and your part in that collaboration is deeply appreciated.
