Grumpy Bollam's Beard challenge · 16 October 2016

Jigsaw Trust aims to create more opportunities for autistic people through the provision of high quality, accessible, educational, vocational and wellbeing services through Jigsaw CABAS School, JigsawPlus adult day service and Jigsaw Enterprises including Cafe on the Park and GardenWorks.

Story

This man needs shaving and your help is required!

GMB union reps in British Gas smart metering are raising money for Jigsaw, a school which educates and supports children through autism.

This is a cause very close to the heart of some of our reps and some of our engineers too. This kind caring man has accepted a challenge to have his beard shaved off if we reach our target.

On the face of it this this may seem like an easy challenge but will have been over 18 months in the preparation. That’s longer than training for and running a marathon or climbing Kilimanjaro and certainly more time than it takes to open 30 cans of catering size beans and fill a bath.

This is a really worthwhile cause and we will value all your support. Updates to follow.
