This is my Mum. She doesn't always remember me. She is worried or angry a lot. She doesn't remember what she had for lunch. She still loves music and being out in the garden. It sounds inconvenient. But that's not it at all.

Alzheimer's has been a long, raw, one-way journey of memory, intellect and personality being stripped away. It's the cruelest thing I've ever witnessed.

Please help me raise some funds for Alzheimer's Research. I'm taking on my first triathlon in 8 years. I'm coming back from a low point myself. But after 4 months swimming, biking and running, I'm starting to feel a bit like me again. Mum won't ever have that. Maybe in the future, others need not be so misfortunate.
