Story
Well - we did it!!!
Each person completed/consumed the following... 42 hours awake. 15 hours of climbing, 11 hours of driving, 3 hours sleep (max), 1 Scotch Pie, 1 chicken caesar wrap, 2 tunnocks wafers, 3 bananas, 1/2 bag jelly babies, 12 boiled sweets, 6 mini-mars bars, 1 doughnut, 3 packets of crisps, 4 handfuls of salty nuts, 1 sandwich (mixed fillings), 2 apples, 400g of really dodgy pasta salad, 2 kit kats, 1/4 jar vaseline, 6-10 nurofen, lots of talc, not enough suncream, not enough misdge bite cream, 1 neck pillow, 2.25 pairs of pants (you work out who smells), 2 pairs trousers, 2 tops, 3 pairs of socks.
It was hard - so hard, that we couldn't even finish our 2nd beer at the post event curry (poor show all round).
It's not too late to sponsor us... Come on, you know you want to.
Our chosen charity is the Galactosaemia Support Group. Please take a few moments to sponsor us to do this - even if it's just for the pleasure of hearing the tales of woe and organisational incompetence that are sure to ensue.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Galactosaemia Support Group will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor us now!
Many thanks for your support.
Gary, David, Charlie, Duncan and Kenny.
