Every day 15,000 children under the age of five die – most from preventable causes.  My goal is to create change in the world by inspiring others to realize critical needs and make change in their actions to benefit others.  The awareness and energy I bring to Save The Children is supporting the goal of providing basic healthcare needs to children around the world. 

I am 1 of 40 GSK trekkers who are hiking 100km to raise money for Save The Children.  Together we plan to raise over $225,000. to support mothers and their babies in Vietnam and other countries. We had planned to hike 100km in Vietnam, but due to Covid we were tasked with choosing a hiking partner and hiking 100km in our home country.  In April, my husband and I hiked Utah’s Mighty 5 National Parks, completing the 100km challenge!  

Each Trekker was committed to raise $6,000, and while I achieved my fundraising goal last year, the needs of the children continue, especially during a pandemic.  Every dollar is appreciated and every dollar donated is being automatically matched by GSK.  Please join my journey to support children globally.
