Royal Parks Challenge · 27 April 2023

Together with YoungMinds, Grant Thorntons London office aims to drive awareness, advocacy and fundraising to help prevent young people's mental health from reaching crisis point.

Story

YoungMinds is the UK’s leading charity fighting for children and young people's mental health. With an estimated five children in every classroom having a mental health problem, the charity's purpose is to stop young people's mental health reaching crisis point.

To fund training for three Parents' Helpline volunteers, who are there to help families who are concerned about a loved one, Grant Thornton's London CFA team will be taking on the Royal Parks Challenge on Thursday 27th April. This mega walk across the capital will raise vital funds for this crucial service, which is currently experiencing unprecedented demand and is in desperate need of greater resource.

The epic 26 mile/42 km route will take the team across historic parkland and beautiful green spaces, while passing some of the finest architecture in London. From Richmond Park, along the banks of the River Thames, passing iconic Westminster and Buckingham Palace, before ending in Greenwich Park.

With the pandemic significantly impacting children's and teenager's wellbeing, your generosity will make a meaningful difference to families. Please support us if you can, so that young people can get support wherever and whenever they need it.
