A mini team of our best Grant Thornton PE athletes have signed up (some more willingly than others) todon their lycra to swim, bike and run for the Impetus PE Foundation at their triathlon on 17 September. The Impetus-PEF Private Equity Triathlon, inassociation with BVCA, is the only event of its kind for the private equity andassociated industries.
Impetus-PEF is committed to transforming the lives of 11-24 year olds from disadvantaged backgrounds byensuring they get the support they need to succeed in education, find and keepjobs, and achieve their potential. It finds the most promising charities andsocial enterprises that work with these children and young people. It helpsthem become highly effective organisations that transform lives; then helpsthem expand significantly so as to dramatically increase the number of youngpeople they serve.
