During the Covid 19 pandemic we are unable to go out with our buckets and trading, hold our quiz nights, or stand at the usual fetes and galas, to raise the vital funds we require to sustain our life changing services. 

Our needs haven’t changed, the vital work must continue but without public support this is very challenging for our charity. We really need your assistance. Every single penny really does count. No donation is too small, so if you can spare a few pennies then please, please help us. 

Almost two million people in the UK are living with sight loss that has a significant impact on their daily lives. Of those, around 180,000 rarely leave their homes alone and lead lonely, isolated lives.  Guide Dogs strive for a world where people with sight loss are never left out of life, for a world where being blind or partially sighted is not what defines you. A world with enough support to make the challenges of sight loss no barrier to fulfilling their hopes and dreams.

It costs £5 a day to support one of our life changing working guide dog partnerships. £25 can buy a white harness, the iconic symbol of a fully qualified guide dog, or £95 can buy a Training School Kit for a guide dog trainer who teach pups the specialist skills they will need to become a qualified guide dog.
