We provide unconditional friendship, support and practical help to people in crisis and in need. We work with children, homeless people, all adult victims of modern slavery and those dealing with drug and/or alcohol addiction

Story

This year our Christmas appeal will look very different due to Covid 19.

We will be helping local families with gift cards for groceries and presents. Families get nominated by schools, agencies and other partners. We have already seen nominations for this year setting a new record

Covid is affecting many local Guildford families and we are hoping and praying that we are able to help all our nominees.

Donate £10 that will pay for groceries for one person for the festive season

Donate £20 that will pay for a present for one child

Here is a few words from a previous recipient of our Christmas help

“Christmas was so hard for us as a family I had recently gone through a break up with the kids dad and was an emotional wreck as well as being in a deep hole financially. I struggle with my mental health at the best of times and the thought of Christmas and not being able to provide for my children was agonising. The Salvation Army were literally my knight in shining armour, my guardian angel coming to my rescue. Thank you simply doesn’t seem enough I am so grateful for their support so please please help them to make this possible again for other families.”
