Another bike ride on the calendar. This year I chose to cycle from Milan to Lamezia Terme in the south. It will be an 800 mile or so ride (depending on how lost I get ;)).

I am planning on camping along the route and try to do it as quickly as possible. I have given myself a week to complete it but I hope to do it quicker.

I chose to raise money for Children with Cancer UK; a charity that provides vital services for children with cancer. The charity’s main aims are to determine the causes, find cures and provide care for children with cancer. The charity funds life-saving research into the causes, prevention and treatment of childhood leukaemia and other childhood cancers, and works to protect young lives through essential welfare and campaigning programmes.

I'm certain that the inspiration to raise money for such a worthy charity will push me through every mile. Life's too short, just do it.
