Story

2 years ago I did a trek in the wilderness on the Hayduke Trail in Utah. After a few days, the physically challenging trek became a profound spiritual experience.

Last year I trekked with a beautiful group of men (the San Pedro Knights) in the Andes of Peru at 15,000 feet. Another beautiful connection to Nature, Pachamama, the Apus and Spirit.

This year I am planning to go on the GR20 in Corse, Corsica : The Island, the land of my ancestors. It is considered to be the most difficult of all the GR routes and one of the most beautiful mountain trail in Europe. It will be a 2-week pilgrimage in the magical wilderness of this Mediterranean island (see photos).

I will walk from July 7th to July 20th. Up & down daily. For a total of 10,000 meters (33,000 feet) up and down, and over 111 miles (180 km). We will stop every night in unique mountain refuge sleeping indoor and in a tent.

100% of the money raised here will go to Survival International which mission is:

We exist to prevent the annihilation of tribal peoples and to give them a platform to speak to the world so they can bear witness to the genocidal violence, slavery and racism they face on a daily basis. By lobbying the powerful we help defend the lives, lands and futures of people who should have the same rights as other contemporary societies.
