Story

Usually on this day the Irish cancer society has their Daffodil day collection to raise money for those and the families of those whom have been affected by cancer. Sadly due to the Coronavirus pandemic this will not be taking place today. Cancer has taken more lives than the Corona virus and will continue to do till a cure is found.

At a time when our country's health services and front line workers are at capacity we want to help in some small way.

So for the duration of however long the Coronavirus lasts, A number of members of Guinness Rugby club will be growing our best Gordan D'arcy's or Chuck Nolan's beards to raise money for wonderful and incredible people that work in nursing services within the Irish Cancer society.

Once this all settles down, we will announce a date for a Shave off event to be held in the Clubhouse in the Iveagh grounds Crumlin at a later.

We thank you all for your support and hope to see you all very soon.
