Story
On 12th August 2018, our dearest Papa sadly passed away. One of his wishes was to recognise and contribute to the great work done at the Haematology Ward at Northwick Park Hospital. He was very thankful for the care and love he received there. The family would sincerely appreciate donations towards this cause.
BACKGROUND
In his latter years, our Papa was diagnosed with an incurable blood condition.
His frequent visits to the Haematology department involved donating blood and receiving treatment. He was always supported and treated with love and attention by the hospital staff, which he greatly appreciated.
His participation in the clinical trials and treatment assisted in the research to find a cure. His treatment, in fact, extended his life, and we hope this will benefit others.
PAPA'S LEGACY
Papa has touched and influenced the lives of many during his long life, and we are forever grateful for the lessons he taught us, the stories he told us and the everlasting love he had for us. He will be deeply missed and remain in our hearts forever.
Our Papa lived 84 happy years, 62 of which were married to his best friend and wife, Sheila. With 3 children, 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, Papa showered us with endless love, support and laughter which created the memories he left behind, not only with us, but with all those who he had met.
THANK YOU
Thank you for taking the time to read Papa's story and donating to the London North West Healthcare Charitable Fund (Haematology Department) in support and memory of our Papa.
GIFT AID
The LNWH Charity can reclaim a further 25% of the donation (increasing the value of each donation by 25p per £1 given). You can easily add Gift Aid to your donation.
