For a long time I have loved Mountain Gorilla’s. The efforts of CTPH (https://ctph.org ) and the brilliant team work so that these beautiful animals and the people who live in the surrounding areas to live in harmony. 

Gorilla’s are inquisitive and someone’s washing line can look like an appealing swing. But curiosity can create discord when water shortages mean dirty washing sets a family back. 

CTPH are vital within the Bwindi Impenetrable Rain Forest, where over half the world’s Mountain Gorilla population live (400 I know right) by putting into place methods that mean curiosity isn’t damaging! The survival of wildlife, and the welfare of the people who protect it has never been under greater threat from mass corporations and the growth of human kind. Running in the Scottish Borders won’t stop the injustice, or solve the trials the families living in these majestic places face. But, with Gladys and her fantastic team we can do a lot to make sure the health of Mountain Gorillas and the welfare of families has a chance to thrive.
