Thanks for visiting my fundraising page in memory of my mum Lesley Michels.

As many of you visiting this page will be aware my mum was a special and truly selfless person, who impacted many lives none more so than mine. Unfortunately, however, in 2018 she was diagnosed with bile duct cancer and after a short but brave battle passed away in June 2019.

During her battle numerous doctors, nurses, carers and charities offered great support to both my mum and the rest of my family. One of these charities was Macmillan and as such I’m looking to raise money for them by running the London Marathon 2023 so they continue doing the great work they do for those impacted by cancer.

For those not aware of Macmillan, they are a charity that provides vital cancer services and research along with campaigning to achieve better cancer care. Last year their services reached 2.4 million people and by donating to this cause you will helping them to continue their mission and supporting people like myself and my mum.
