Story
As an incentive for your extremely generous donations for the Royal Parks Half Marathon last year, I promised to do something slightly more challenging this year.
On the 8th July, 2023, I will be attempting Race to the Stones, a 100km ultra-marathon across the beautiful English countryside finishing at Avebury stone circle. In the spirit of healthy sibling rivalry, I’ve also managed to convince my brother James to run alongside me to make up for our (now) comically failed attempt to run the Barcelona marathon together.
We’re once again running on behalf of Mind, the mental health charity which provides advice and support to empower anyone experience a
mental health problem. They campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding. Most of us will know someone who has experienced challenges around mental health, so it’s a privilege to support a charity that can have such a crucial impact on people’s lives and wellbeing.
We will continue to update with training progress as well as on the day itself. Thank you!
