This 6th annual charity football match will take place on July 15th at Druid Park Woolsington

We are a group of Newcastle and Sunderland fans who will come together on the 15th July 2022 to play our 6th Annual Geordies V Mackem's 11 a side charity football match at Druid Park  once again supporting The Bradley Lowery Foundation.

This is the 6th fixture between these 2 fantastic bunch of lads. Previously:

• 17/12/2017 The 1st meeting between these fine men finished a draw, but resulted in Sunderland ending victorious after winning on penalty's. A staggering £7000 
• 13/10 2018 The 2nd Meeting seen the Geordies getting revenge against the Mackem's by battering them 7-3. A mind blowing £12,000 was raised from this match!
• 26/07/2019 The 3rd meeting was an absolute cracker of a match totally hampered by bad weather which ended 3-3 with the Geordies this time winning the match on spot kicks. A fantastic £7500 was raised 
• 15/8/2020 The 4th meeting was squeezed in between Covid-19 restrictions and an amazing £4250 was raised which for being done during a worldwide pandemic was an amazing amount to be raised. Oh - the mags won again 3-2 making it 3 in a row as well!
• 14/8/2021 The Mackem's finally won narrowly beating a misfiring Geordies Team on penalties making it 1 in a row.

Each player requires a minimum sponsorship of £120 to play in this event before the match, this money will go towards helping support sick children receive life saving treatment and life changing equipment!

The Bradley Lowery foundation has been set up to help families who need to fund raise for treatment or equipment, not available on the NHS. We will support families through their fundraising campaign in order to help achieve their targets. We offer not only support, but grants where eligible.
