I am running the London marathon for the second time. Training this winter has been particularly horrible because the weather most weekends has been vile. I have had the encouragement of my trainer, Shep, who has insisted that I must  train every weekend and  seems not to understand the concept of just going for a short run or having a lie in.

I have been involved with SWA pretty much since I became a solicitor and it is a cause close to my heart. The services provided remain as relevant as ever to support women and children experiencing domestic and sexual abuse. Being involved with a respected and well run charity is an honour and I hope that you will be able to help me reach my rather ambitious fundraising target.
