Story
I am taking part in 3 Miles a Day in March for UK Sepsis Trust. This charity is close to my heart, in 2022 I became seriously unwell with sepsis multiple times after my appendix blew and I had multiple complications leading to further surgeries and hospital stays. I was lucky enough to survive and i am still in active recovery supported by UK Sepsis Trust. some others aren’t as lucky as i was and before this I had hardly any prior knowledge of sepsis, the signs and how it can affect someone. It can be mistaken as so many different things and as a result those symptoms can be widely ignored .
The UK Sepsis Trust works to bring a wider awareness to Sepsis and its signs. It also helps and supports those whose lives have been affected by Sepsis in any way. Any donation will go a long way to help those affected and for the work UK Sepsis Trust continue to do. Thank you so much for your support
