Story
I am walking in memory of one of my descendants David Griffiths who spent 21 years as a Missionary in Madagascar in the early 19th Century. He along with others established schools ,churches and other humanitarian institutions many of which are in existence today. Last October I had the privilege of visiting Madagascar and following in his footsteps. Apel Madagasgar (Madagascar Appeal) has been set up by Undeb yr Annibynwyr Cymreig (Union of Welsh Independents) to support a number of humanitarian and environmental projects and the walk from Gwynfe in Carmarthenshire (Where David Griffiths was born and raised)to Neuadd Lwyd near the Cardiganshire coast (where he received much of his early training)is in aid of those projects.
I hope that I can rely on your support
Taith gerdded er cof am David Griffiths a dreuliodd 21 mlynedd fel cenhadwr yn Madagasgar. Yno,ynghyd ac eraill, fe sefydlodd eglwysi, ysgolion a sefydliadau dyngarol . Yn yr hydref mi ges i'r fraint o ymweld a Madagasgar ac olrain peth o'i hanes yno. Y mae Apel Madagasgar wedi ei sefydlu gan Undeb yr Annibynwyr Cymreig i gefnogi nifer o brosiectau dyngarol amgylcheddol ac mae'r daith o Gwynfe(lle ganwyd a magwyd David Griffiths) i Neuaddlwyd,Ceredigion (lle derbyniodd ei hyfforddiant cynnar) i gefnogi'r prosiectau hyn
Gobeithio y gallaf ddibynnu ar eich cefnogaeth
