On 05 September I will be running the Leeds 10k in support Glen Campbell's fundraising and the Pedalling for Prostate Cancer Tour. 

Glen is the father of a good friend of mine who was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer after requesting some routine tests with his doctor.

His team of devoted daughters, their partners and his wife Barbs are his rock and inspiration to keep fighting his own personal battle, whilst selflessly campaigning to raise awareness to continue research and the provision of care to sufferers.

The family is undergoing a gruelling 900+ mile cycling challenge over two weeks at the start of September - the Pedalling for Prostate Cancer Tour.

I can only commit to one leg of this so instead I’m hoping to support the cause in a small way through my own event - the ASDA Foundation Leeds 10k.

I am setting myself a tough target to complete the run in 42 minutes and will be donating an additional £20 for every 30 seconds I am over that time! 

If you are able to donate a small amount to help raise awareness and show your support for a man and family that are very dear to me it would be gratefully and humbly received.
