Challenge Wembley 2019 · 11 August 2019 to 24 August 2019 ·

The Steve Prescott Foundation was set up by a totally inspirational man Steve Prescott MBE. In 2006 he was diagnosed with Pseudomyxoma Peritonei a terminal cancer & sought out to raise funds for The Christie Hospital and the Rugby League Benevolent Fund. The SPF changes the lives of so many people.

Story

In 2009 I took part in the Carnegie Challenge (https://steveprescottfoundation.co.uk/hall-of-fame/38-16th-august-2009-the-carnegie-challenge) alongside Steve Prescott.

Ten years later I am taking part in the Wembley Challenge and this time it will be alongside Steve's son, Taylor, where the team will be retracing Steve's steps from the 2009 challenge.

This challenge consists of cycling 865 miles (from Catalans to Windsor Castle), rowing 26 miles (from Windsor to Teddington Lock) and finally running a half marathon (from RAF Uxbridge to Wembley), where the team will handover for the ball for 2019 Challenge Cup Final.

My target is to raise £5,000.00 for the Steve Prescott Foundation. Please click on this link for information about Steve Prescott https://www.steveprescottfoundation.co.uk/about-the-steve-prescott-foundation

Finally, having (like so many) lost close members of my family, my dad in particular, to Cancer I am determined to help the millions of people out there trying to beat it, find cures for it and support those, whose family & friends are suffering from it. Raising money for the Steve Prescott Foundation will help me do that and in turn will help those people in need.

Please donate to this great cause.
