Story

Many of you know how involved I am with HORSEHEARD, because I have seen first hand the impact of our work with children connecting with horses. I want to help more young people access our work and develop their self confidence and emotional resilience by funding programmes for them, hence this sponsored challenge.

So what is the Challenge this time I hear you say. Well this time on a bicycle !

This makes my previous challenges of climbing Kilimanjaro and riding a horse from Coast 2 Coast easy, as I am not a natural cyclist. It is a 30 mile route around Anglezarke, locally known for its HILLS. Have I mentioned the HILLS !!!!! I have been training hard and can now go down hills without the brakes constantly on and cycle up hills without the need for an oxygen tank at the top. But definitely know what it feels like to tap into my emotional resilience.

So all these hills over 30 miles in 5 hours - it has yet to be done !

Wish me luck and if you would like to sponsor me as well  or anyone else on the team, it will make a huge difference to the number of young people we can help and a massive boost to me and Team HORSEHEARD.

Please help us smash the target of £500
