MS Fundraising - Hannah

Brighton Marathon 2019 · 14 April 2019 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running the Brighton Marathon on April 14th. This will be a real challenge and require a lot of training but it is all for a good cause. This is a cause that is close to my heart and it means a lot to be able to participate in fundraising for a charity that are so active in funding research to find a cure and supply better medical treatments for those with MS.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a condition that affects your brain and spinal cord. In MS, the coating that protects your nerves (myelin) is damaged, and this causes a range of symptoms.
More than 100,000 people in the UK have MS. We don't know the cause and we haven't yet found a cure, but research is progressing fast.
MS society are researching, writing, campaigning and fighting for a cure. They have already improved the available medical resources for those with MS and continue to make fantastic progress whilst supporting the families of those with MS. It is a great charity that are passionate about what they do, and most importantly are making a huge difference in thousands of peoples’ lives that have been hugely affected by the illness. Any donation of any size will be GREATLY appreciated.
