I started the Wainwright's 182mile Coast to Coast walk in August 2017 but on Day Two I fell and broke my leg very badly.

Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team were amazing. I am forever grateful for their expert knowledge, kindness, caring attitude and the professional way that they rescued me.

This year, 28-29th May 2021, I returned to the "scene of the crime" and got to the end of the second stage of the walk, but without their help.

Any money that I can raise will go to my heroic rescuers.
