Story

Since the start of ASSISTED. in late 2016, each year we have challenged ourselves with a charity adventure to raise money for a good cause and push both our physical and mental strengths. In true ASSISTED. style each year we try and outdo the previous year. It all started with the national 3 peaks challenge in 2017 followed by the gruelling 14 peak challenge in 2018.

This year we racked our brains of challenges we could complete that pushed ourselves even further than last year... then alas the notion of walking coast to coast across England following Hadrian's wall. This historic Roman monument spans over 80 miles from the west coast in Cumbria to the east coast in Northumberland - Although many have covered this ground before, we decided to spice it up but putting a time constraint on our efforts.

We have set our brave team a target of 4 days including travel - This means we will cover just under 3 marathons on the first 3 days of the walk, starting from the West and finishing in Newcastle.

We are hoping for good weather and will be attempting the challenge from the 19th - 22nd of July 2019, stopping over in 3 different villages along the route for shelter and a decent feed.
