Ramadan Deployment  

Alhumdullilah following my deployment only few weeks ago to Turkey, delivering aid to the Syrian refugee camps, visiting wounded care homes and heartbreaking orphanage.I have decided to get myself out there to continue my work further more! 

When you see the civilians suffering first hand, it’s heartbreaking to feel their pain! The widows holding their young families together, simply by having any little hope they have. They are relying on us as an ummah to show our support and remind them, that we have not forgotten them. 

The orphans who need our help the most, I spent my first few days, literally breaking down into tears! Seeing an 8 year old orphan girl caring for her baby sister, the baby calling her sister mama!

This experience is truly an eye opener, of just how much these vulnerable people, really need our support to survive through their difficult times!

Lebanon is in the midst of a chaotic crisis, which touches all aspects of daily life. The challenge of securing food along with finding fuel and medicines is the what the day to day struggle has become for millions of citizens. Imagine being a refugee in amongst this. We want to provide food parcels, cooking and heating fuel, blankets and shelter to as many people in need as we can.
